DR TROLLSPOTTING Gattamelata    X    CHEETAHSDEN'S Meercat

2 Brown Spotted Boys  born 10/03/04

Boy # 1,  glittered with huge spots and huge green eyes; fondly named Taco Grande. Adopted by Kristin

Boy #2, stunningly spotted all over with a wild head; lovingly named Burrito. This boy is full of energy, loves to chase after toys on the end of a string, and proudly struts away with his catch. He will do best in a home where the family love and active cat. On Hold!

Sehnsational Falstaff

Sometimes a kitten is picked out, saved for the buyer, but something happens and the buyer can't take  her baby home.  That was Falstaff's story. The largest of his litter, a wonderful, special little boy, he was left behind when his litter mates left for their new homes. He made his life with his brother Agnij, chosen to be a Sehnsational stud cat, but the special love and attention that come from being in a home -- well, it felt like he had missed out on that.

When new families came to pick out their kittens, Falstaff was again passed by. Although he was only a little more than a year in age, I'd be told, "he's too old. " Others were actually afraid he'd be dangerous because "he's too big!"

When BP wrote, looking for a kitten but having a limited budget for a new pet, I suggested she think about Falstaff. I told her how he'd always been the one to sleep on my bed, and that he purred very loudly. She didn't seem worried about his size, and was delighted to find that he had rosettes and beautiful green eyes.

Furrocious Falstaff / Koda

Now Falstaff has a new name -- Koda -- and a new family. No one thinks he's too big or too old, certainly not BP.

BP wrote:  "I was delighted by his size and thought it a special opportunity to get such a large boy. And everyone thought he'd be dangerous, o that is the opposite of what he is, he loves the other cats and has never used his nails even in the frightening experience of bath time. Him coming to me was a wish come true ..."

I work closely with Pamela Knowles of CheetahsDen Bengals and she has generously offered to let me link to her bengal adoption and polices page as we share the same philosophies on placing bengal kittens. To read them please click on the link below.
